I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, sexuality, LGBTIQA+ issues, bereavement and grief, chronic illness (HIV), identity exploration, attachment issues, men’s issues, identity exploration, and existential concerns, among others.
One on One
Individual psychotherapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life.
Online Sessions
Online therapy can be a good option for people who cannot access care due to location, health, or transportation issues. Online therapy may be offered as a standalone treatment.
About Me
I am a qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist. I hold a Diploma and BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy (IICP) as well as a BA (Hons) in Social Communication. I use an integrative approach based on Humanistic-Existential traditions. This aims to help the client to achieve greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, ownership, better relationships and more control over their life.

Affirmative Approach Across Cultures
I offer an affirmative approach for all my clients. I actively honour and celebrate my clients' identity while validating the oppression they feel. Validation and empathy fundamentally result from increased understanding of individuals' history, cultural context, and lived experiences.
Integrative Psychotherapy
My approach is integrative and draws on multiple traditions. In other words, there is no "one size fits all" approach when working with clients and there is no point in trying to force someone to work in a way they do not like or does not suit. Integrative therapy is an individualized, holistic approach to therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic schools of thought, depending on the unique needs of a given client.
